Bhendekayi Hasiru Gojju (Okra/Ladies Finger green Gojju)
Ingredients:
ladies finger - 1/4 kg
To grind:
fried gram dhal - 1/2 cup
coconut - 1/4 cup
green chillies - as per taste
white til - 1/2 spoon to be fried and used
jeera - 1 tsp
coriander leaves - a small bunch
turmeric - a small tsp
tamarind - a small lemon size
jaggery - as per taste
Method:
Grind the ingredients taken for grinding and keep aside. Wash and clean the ladies finger and cut it into slices. Put a little oil and shallow fry the ladies finger till the sticky part leaves the vegetable. Then add the tamarind after the ladies finger is half cooked, so that the tamarind will help it remove the sticky paste. Add the masala and a little water, so that you get thickness. Then add salt and jaggery as per taste, and boil it for 10 minutes.
Cook on medium flame or it will be burnt
Eat it with parathan, rice or puris. Enjoyyyyyy
