Parch Kootu

List of Ingredients:

Tuvar Dal - 1 cup
vegetables - varied vegetables of your choice - 2 cups
groundnuts - 1/4 cup
To grind:
jeera - 1 tsp
urad dal - 4 tsp
dhaniya - 4 tsp or little more
green chillies - as per your taste
coconut - as per your liking

Fry all these ingredients and grind with a little water

Pressure cook the dal and vegetables seperately.  Cook groundnut along with dal.  Mix the boiled vegetables, dal and ground masala and salt.  Boil for sometimes.  Add seasoning of mustard seeds, and asafoetida in the end.

Serve hot with rice or chapathis
