Gorikai Palya
Ingredients:
- 250g Gorikai (cluster Beans), washed and chopped
- 1 tablespoon Urad Dal
- 2 Green Chillies, sliced
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
- 1 tablespoon Jaggery
- 3-4 tablespoons Peanut Powder
Instructions:
Tempering:
- In a pan, heat oil and add urad dal.
- Once the dal turns golden, add the green chillies and sauté.
Cook the Beans:
- Add the chopped Gorikai, salt, and water.
- Cover and cook until the beans are half-cooked.
Add Jaggery and Peanut Powder:
- Add jaggery and let it dissolve.
- Before the water completely evaporates, add peanut powder.
- Mix well and cook until the beans are tender.
Serve:
- Serve hot as a side dish.
