Coconut Burfi
Soft, mildly chewy and rich with the natural sweetness of coconut — this simple burfi was a staple during festivals and special occasions.
🛒 Ingredients:

Fresh grated coconut

Sugar
-
Cardamom powder

Ghee
Method:

In a thick-bottomed pan, add grated coconut and sugar.

Cook on low flame, stirring continuously until the sugar melts and blends with the coconut.

Add a little ghee and continue stirring until the mixture thickens.

Add cardamom powder and mix well.

Once the mixture starts leaving the sides of the pan, transfer to a greased plate.

Flatten evenly and allow it to cool.

Cut into desired shapes.

Often made as a quick sweet offering during poojas, coconut burfi required very few ingredients — but always tasted festive
