Tomato Chutney
Perfect as an accompaniment to idli, dosa or even chapati.
🛒 Ingredients:

Tomatoes
-
Dry red chillies
-
Garlic
-
Mustard seeds
-
Curry leaves
-
Salt
-
Oil
Method:

Fry tomatoes and dry red chillies in oil.

Allow to cool and grind with salt and garlic.

Temper mustard seeds and curry leaves in oil.
-
Pour tempering over chutney.
A Note from Tradition:
Tomato chutney was often made when coconut was not readily available at home.
