Mysore Style Curd Rice
No South Indian meal feels complete without a bowl of cooling curd rice.
🛒 Ingredients:

Cooked rice
-
Curd
-
Salt
-
Mustard seeds
-
Curry leaves
-
Green chillies
-
Grated carrot (optional)

Coriander leaves
Method:

Mash cooked rice slightly.

Add curd and salt and mix well.

Temper mustard seeds, curry leaves and green chillies.

Add tempering to rice.

Garnish with grated carrot and coriander leaves.
A Note from Tradition:
Curd rice was often packed for travel due to its cooling and soothing properties.
