Mysore Style Tomato Rasam
Light, tangy and comforting — tomato rasam was the perfect end to any heavy meal.
🛒 Ingredients:

Tomatoes

Tamarind extract

Rasam powder
-
Cooked dal (optional)

Mustard seeds
-
Curry leaves
-
Hing
-
Coriander leaves
Method:

Cook tomatoes with tamarind extract and salt.

Add rasam powder and bring to a boil.

Add mashed dal if using.

Temper mustard seeds, curry leaves and hing in oil.

Pour tempering over rasam and garnish with coriander leaves.
